Project Overview
A free online encyclopedia, created and edited by volunteers around the world and hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation. This project was born out of exploring the never ending articles found on Wikipedia. Starting with a topic and designing an editorial publication from that article topic. Then finding a new article topic within the previous article and so forth.
Book 1: Witchcraft
Witchcraft (or witchery) is the practice of magical skills, spells, and abilities. Witchcraft is a broad term that varies culturally and societally, and thus can be difficult to define with precision. Historically, the most common meaning is the use of supernatural means to cause harm to the innocent; this remains the meaning in most traditional cultures worldwide.
Book 2: Black Magic
Black magic has traditionally referred to the use of supernatural powers or magic for evil and selfish purposes. With respect to the left-hand path and right-hand path dichotomy, black magic is the malicious, left-hand counterpart of the benevolent white magic. In modern times, some find that the definition of black magic has been convoluted by people who define magic or ritualistic practices that they disapprove of as black magic.
Book 3: Necromancy
Necromancy is the practice of magic involving communication with the dead – either by summoning their spirits as apparitionsvisions or raising them bodily – for the purpose of divination, imparting the means to foretell future events, discover hidden knowledge, to bring someone back from the dead, or to use the dead as a weapon. Sometimes referred to as "Death Magic", the term may also sometimes be used in a more general sense to refer to black magic or witchcraft.
